ASIH Student Travel Awards

Ten Student Travel Awards of $200 each will be awarded to help defray travel expenses to the meetings. The awards are intended to assist students who will present a paper or poster at the meetings. Applications should include the abstract of the paper or poster, information on the expected cost of attending the meetings and alternative sources of funding. Applications can be submitted via e-mail or regular post. If regular post is used, please enclose a self-addressed return envelope. In the past, there have been very few applications for these awards; any student making a presentation is strongly encouraged to apply. Awards are limited to students who have not won in the past. Selection is by random draw from among qualified applicants, with:

• five awards in ichthyology;
• five awards in herpetology.
