There are many local hotels within walking distance of the University of Washington campus, as well as many more (regional and downtown) that are readily accessible by a variety of convenient transportation services. Prices and availability vary widely according to location and season. Bed-and-Breakfast places as well as Hostels are also available. Dikmen Travel, Inc., the official travel agent for the 1997 meetings, is the best source of information on the many alternativ$ but direct contact is also an option. In all cases, be sure to mention ASIH, and make your reservations as early as possible! The local committee cannot make hotel or bed and breakfast reservations for participants.
